Crows in Corn

I spotted crows actully pulling up young corn plants to eat the sprouted seed!! I have about a hundred field corn plants laid on the ground.
Doves were hanging around watching, I bet they paid tuition to learn from the crow!!!
Too far from the house to shoot with the scatter gun. .22 time!
I needs me a scarecrow!!
