What would YOU do?

I Google Earth'ed (is that a verb? lol) the local water sources. One pond, on our side of the road - .17 miles, pond across street - .25 miles, very cold stream, 3 miles, via road - country dirt road. LOTS of ponds between here and there.

Plus, I found out last night, the house has a cistern under it. Don't know more than that, but it is something we need to look into.

That's what we do when we look at home online. We google the address on "Google Maps" and zoom in, out and around on the airial and birdseye views to see what's around us. You can see everything but in the windows of the homes! LOL Good to know where those water sources are in case we lose all power for a period of time.
