  • What are your favorite seed catalogs

Still in the deep of winter here, inspite of low snow averages this year. But that doesn't stop me from planning next years garden. With that in mind, I like to spend a winters night looking through seed catalogs. I have a few favs, Ronnigers potato, Cooks garden, Burpee. Just wondering what other catalogs I could add to my list. Open to any suggestions.

    Thanks

I'm planning on getting most, if not all, of our seeds from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds. http://rareseeds.com/

I second Baker Creek as to buying from. I like Seed Savers, Pinetree (smaller and cheaper, packs though so good for trying new). Miller Nursery, One Green World, Weeks berry, Adams County Nursery, with Adams county the price break for odering 25 is so good you could give half away and still end up with better biger for less money.

Baker's in Missouri is a pretty fair drive from us (still just a day trip), but they have a village and some other neat stuff, plus it is near the Laura Ingalls Wilder home and I have always wanted to visit that. I'm hoping to convince my folks to go with us. I am try to convert Dad to heirloom seeds. Plus, stuff we don't want a whole bunch of - we could split a packet.

Mustangal I went to Bakercreeks Village two years ago I was in Springfield and had a day to kill so ran over it was a good trip. They have monthly get togethers or so that seemed like they would be a lot of fun. Plus I would like to make it to there fall havest fest sometime to taste all the produce. I went to a couple Seed Savers field days and they are a good time.
