we use an outhouse now so no changes to look forward too in the future..

Matt, I am like an ole senile hound dog, I just aim for the neighbors flower beds.......AHAHHA
Myself, I will just dig a hole, hang on to a tree branch and go...not so for the wife...kids are too young...
But, I have some 5 gallon buckets and a seemingly endless supply of grocery sacks....
Luckily, when I worked at the RV place, I got quite a few boxes of that Blue Powdery stuff that RVers use.....heard it works wonders. And I could just rip one of the Throne Seats off and hinge it to a bucket if it really came down to it.....You know what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like this?

Being on a septic system is ideal to me. IF you have enough water available, just continue to use the indoor facilities using a bucket to fill the toilet tank and flush as usual keeping in mind the old "southern" phrase..."If it's yellow, let it mellow, if it's brown flush it down". An alternative would be to just build an outhouse right over the septic clean out opening and continue life as usual.

Matt, we've got a porta potty that has come in handy many times during power outages and plumbing projects. We continue to stock up on chemical for it and are going to buy that potty on a stand like you have. We can bury the bags. 5 gallon buckets work too.
When we lived in the mountains I worked 10 hour days 10,000 ft elevation and higher with no one in sight but bears and eagles. I'd find a good slope and a sturdy aspen and let gravity take care of the rest. I always made sure my grip on the tree was very good...chuckle....Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.
