  • Solar Shed Light

I recieved a $5 off coupon on any $5 or more purchase from Northern Tool Company which opened a store in OKC. We were going in to the city anyway so we stopped by. I found a solar shed light that has a corded solar panel attached to a 6 LED light.

I decided since it's new not to mount it permanently so I place a magnet on the base. That way I can stick it to the AC unit on the camper for hunting, on the storm shelter or in the house when the power goes down.

It stays on for about 6hrs and charges a AA battery that can be used for other stuff as well.

It's an interesting alternative from the standard flower bed lighting because it can be moved to different locations and the panel can be directed at the sun without redirecting the light.

I bought a 100ft of camo poly rope for $10(cause my daughter seems to use mine for horse stuff and it's all disappearing), a waterproof keychain container for my EDC dryerlint:), and a few tools. If youdont see it ask them cause some stuff seemed to be in the back and not out yet

Well had this for almost a year where it resided in the camper and thought i'd do an update. It doesnt put out a ton of light but enough to get dressed, be a marker for a bathroom in a power down situation, or to navigate out of the camper but it's a little short on the amount needed to read. I did have to fix a faulty connector and having been a year I expect that I have less than a year left on the battery before having to replace it. For the price it's worth it however if you spend just a little more there are better options out there that put out a bit more light and are of better quality.
