My rabbit didn't have 10 kits! She has eleven! So far, they all seem to be doing okay. I counted every day, but quit when I got to ten! Either she hadn't had the last one when I counted the first time or I just missed it. Yesterday, it was warm and she had the fur pulled back from them. I counted eight - felt around for the other two and found three!

Congrats!
It's often hard for a rabbit to raise that many. I think the largest litter we had that was raised all the way was 10.
IME, if they make it past about the 2 week mark, your usually in the clear. Once their eyes open and they have fur, they are usually pretty GTG.

Thanks, I am giving her some oatmeal in hopes that will help her have plenty of milk. I never imagined with all this heat she would have had so many! I had read that the males can be sterile when it is hot, but it didn't seem to effect our rabbits! lolComment
