Just wanted to give a little note about this. Energizer Rechargeable D cell batteries are posers. Let me explain, they are a AA wrapped in a D body. The number of mAh tells it all, a real NiMH D should be around 10,000 Nimh.
Compare this Energizer Data sheet: http://data.energizer.com/PDFs/NH50-2500.pdf
As you can see it is only rated at 2500 mAh. However if you go to this site they list NiMH D batteries at 10,000 mAh. http://www.batteryjunction.com/1dni10reba.html
You can find Energizer D cell batteries here http://www.atbatt.com/product/6907.asp and you can see that 2-2500 mAh batteries cost $13.49 at battery junction 1-10,000 mAh battery costs $7.29 on sale. Let's see 1 battery equals twice the amount of power of 2 energizer hmmm.
I recently bought 12 AAA and 12 AA from battery junction and they are working just fine, in fact the AAA have a higher mAh rating than the AAA energizer that I have.
Find a good deal and make sure you are getting the real deal and not crap batteries.
