During a Tornado Warning - What Can We Do?

My husband is 100% disabled, trached and on a ventilator, and bedridden. We've had tornado watches recently, and I'm trying to figure out how to best protect him in the event of a tornado warning. I'm sure I'm not the only person with a disabled family member or neighbor, and I'm open to any and all suggestions.

I don't have an answer for you. But it's crossed my mind after that recent rash of 4am alerts..best you could do is to be ready for grid issues to keep the medical equipment going .

We have a Generac that will continue power as long as it doesn't take a hit. I just don't know how I'd be able to move my husband to the safest location in the house without hurting him.
