How about a post on how to make bread from storage foods. You could include making your own yeast, starter bread recipes like Amish friendship bread, baking from wood or gas ovens and fire pits, and or storage of bread after you bake it. Or do a post on each.
Of course this could lead to a whole new thread of cooking from home storage, flat-bread, hardtack, bean soup, rice and other storage foods. I know that I need to incorporate food storage into my diet both from a prepping standpoint and from lack of money. I'm sitting on a short ton of wheat and similar amounts of corn and rice and need some help on how to use it. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Anything you do will be appreciated. thanks in advance for your time and energy.

        lol lowdown!!

@ibetiny: There currently are several youtube vids on making bread. Although can't find any on making your starter yeast, I have found articles, but no videos. Don't forget, you can make cornbread with that corn you mentioned. :)

@protus: i would like to see some current vehicle dismounting while being engaged tactics... enemy contact, best way to respond (while mounted) i am sure you guys have some new tactics this old Soldier doesn't know or has forgotten...

I want to see a video (video's) on caring for and cleaning guns. Revolvers, semi-automatics, shotguns etc. Seems everyone has an opinion of what to buy, but no one tells you how to care for it. As a for instance, at my concealed weapons class I was told that bullets gets oils and stuff from your hands and are not safe after a few years. I'd never heard this.

So, Delta, how to I clean and care from my revolver, shotgun and ammo???

i may throw a quick one up for ya and SP only( i wont do public gun stuff on youtube) .

however.. this doesnt need to be in movie form. It could be like my water movie. You ask..i reply. Since im rss feed/podcast/mp3 stupid. Im stuck uploading my verbal replys via youtube.......of course i'll add stills as i can so it isnt a black screen lol

so if you ask something i can "talk" about it or like what you need monkey do a movie of it. Some subjects are outta my means ( time/location etc) but ones i can do i will attempt to.

Protus - Was it you that made a cartoon video about two guys talking about their gear? If so could you repost it somewhere? I can't find it anywhere.

I think he's talking about the "I don't need to test my gear, I read about it on the internet and it's good to go" "camping at KOA" cartoon. I can't remember the name. From some Xtranormal site.

Hope you get better soon enough. Your vids are informative and broken down to terms even I can understand.

So I guess my question would be...

What is your favorite camo and what works in your neck of the woods better than most? Could be useful for the other Florida folks around here to have some options instead of buying what won't work. Everything is regional in nature, but something has to work better where you're at.

cant do it now at all since im one legged.
Also there are those out there with alot more skill/knowhow in that area than me.
I dont like to go to much into subjects that i dont or am not 100% confidnet in.
In other words i dont BS folks , unless i KNOW how to do it 100% myself will i offer my "how to", and even then the user should test that info and adapt it to his/her needs ( aka nothing but a guide line) and the needs of their preparedness plan.
