This is the drive leading to my Alabama Home. I was driving home and had to stop to take this photo. Fall is such a beautiful time of year. I'll miss these beautiful leaves when I move to Florida - So I'm glad I can enjoy them today!

FYI, I start every prayer of thanks before eating with: "Thank You Lord for our/my health and prosperity and the food before me...." Many of us may not feel too prosperous, but compared to so many in this world, we are truly blessed and need to give great and heartfelt thanks for such.

Well my wife took a turkey to work with her to the school to give to a friend who was going to fry it for us yesterday. She came home and said well no fried turkey this year. We looked at her and said ok, I'm sure there a story so go ahead. She said that some of the teachers were putting together food baskets and a lady who was on the list showed up after everyone left as my wife and coworker were locking up. So my wife and another lady began putting the leftover stuff together which they said was alot but the only meat left was spam which they placed in the basket. My wife said she couldnt do it and slipped out back to the car and got the thawed turkey and gave it to her with the basket and never said a word. She said that God had already provided us a Thanksgiving dinner today with our family and the turkey we had was not a need. We agree and feel blessed to have been used to be able to help someone in need. Much better than fried turkey. I know we are suppossed to be preparing to survive but there are those who are already there by no fault of their own even. Man it touched me to the core.
