  • Where did you get you forum "NAME" from?

When I look at some of the on-line names on the forum, I can't help but wonder why you selected the name you did?

My name is one given to me by my father when I was born. After his death, I was recalled how embarrassed and mad I was when he called me that in front of my teenage friends. Wish he were here to call me that again!

Anyway, it's to remember him and remind me of his values.

Rmplstlskn came about many decades ago when a company called, "AOL," came onto the MODEM scene with their new online service...

I was trying to find an interesting online name, besides "Joeblow1224" and Rumplestiltskin was too long, so I decided to not enslave the vowels and let them free... Leaving me with RMPLSTLSKN.

Due to my earlier political & patriot activism, the elfish man with a mysterious, unknown name struck me as fun, and it stuck...

Not many Claytons around and certainly fewer Klaytons =)

Not having a great understanding of all things computer related, and the software requiring an "administrator" log in.... well...

Never thought I was actually registering a USER name with it- duh. Needless to say I've learned a little bit in the last 4 months.

The other one is kinda self explanatory, cept for the "3". Honestly don't know if that was something the Lord threw in for me (Trinity and all), or if I just picked a number, or whatever. Started using that on Frugals in 01-02 and it just stuck.

Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"

Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"

Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"

My mama. Really, that is the name she gave me. It is an all purpose name, it works on my driver's license, social security card, VA card, and of course on the internet.

Mine basically fits my personality, plus the three numbers are my old Air Force Specialty code. A lot of places that you log into want you to choose a name consisting of letters and numbers, so that's the one I picked. It just kind of stuck.
