It's been far too long since the net forums have been graced with the presence of gunkid. Everyone needs a little entertainment in their lives, but some just take him too seriously.

with Gun Kid there is no over exageration. this guy is the troll to end all trolls. He's like the kinfg of trolls. patient zero.

personally i have been waiting years for him to get out. internet survival and guns boards are going to be REALLY entertianing once he gets access to a computer.

fyi Protus they unlocked Gun Kids account a few weeks ago at arf.

A little of both I would imagine.

It's kind of like the Gecko45 mall ninja stories, but the huge difference being Gecko45 could spin the tale and everyone knew he wasn't serious...okay, some folks thought the guy was serious and would argue nonstop with him. But many took the stories tongue in cheek after a few wild stories and was meant for humor. Walter Mitty type? Nah, just a person with a vivid imagination whose stories were wild enough most would stop and say "this can't be right" before moving them to the humor board. Others...would argue nonstop because they thought the person was attempting to tell a real story.

Gunkid on the other hand was never taken that way, but was humerous to read. However, the large difference being was the way he could dump hundreds of posts within a few days of being registered. I came in on the tail end of his infamous posting career and remember a couple of them. But towards the end, mods and admins of the...numerous sites he was a part of could figure out it was him within the first five to ten posts and ban him before the problem got out of hand.

Most shots in combat miss the target entirely, and most hits are poor ones. Repeat hit speed is vital, and many types of guns and loads make it very hard to attain. I had a guy tell me that the .44 Special version spit out "spaghettis' of rotted wood, back out of the ENTRANCE hole, when he shot a stump. Anyone know why they quit offering them? I'd guess that they were illegal under the new "armor-piercing" HG ammo definition. It USED to say that as long as a bullet was not made of iron, steel, brass, bronze, etc, it was legal. NOW it says that if it penetrates a Threat Level II vest, civilians can't have it, handgun ammo, that is. I've read that Olympic Arms INSISTING on selling a dozen CAR-15 pistols, chambered for .30 AK, is why the steel cored 30 ak ammo got banned.

The percursor for the PMC tubulars was a STEEL CORED, copper jacketed rd in 9mm, used by the Feds at Waco. It's quite AP, acting like a miniature "hole saw". It's called "cyclone' ammo. SOF wrote it up, back in 92 or so.
