I was listening to the ham bands last night. In Brasstown, NC, there is a “Folk School.” A gent from NY came to participate in folk dance demonstration that is like square dancing, and while performing, he touched several people’s hands and arms. Early reports out of Europe, as well as some in the US, point to hydroxychloroquine + Z-Pac shows substantial success in treating the virus. Other sources are saying it doesn't work. It will be interesting to see what the upshot of this treatment and others (i.e. HIV drugs) will be. Both sides reports are anecdotal but tests are underway to see if a therapeutic can be found that actually is effective.

In the meantime, I'm off to the pharmacy tomorrow morning during "senior" shopping hour to pick up some meds that I can't get delivered. I honestly hate to go anywhere but .....

I'm guessing it was a "delay this until we can get some more made" you know cause we outsourced so much manufacturing to china so we don't have capability to produce for everyone now and just the gubmint needs them.

I don't like the way this looks and I don't like being mandated to stay at home. I usually stay home, but it's by choice, not by edict. In the meantime, our 401K is looking sicker by the day...we need to get back to work very soon. The models aren't bearing up under reality.

We have a 6 million population in Colorado and OMG, OMG,OMG,,,,,,we have deaths in Colorado that are horrible.

Out of 6 million people in the state, this virus has already killed almost but not quite 0.00004% of them.

That's not as many as the time the two Mexican tour buses crashed into each other 6 years ago.

Nobody went SNAFU on that but Gov'nr is going demo lib commie to the hilt still.

there have been more deaths than are being reported.

a new "hot spot" (i forgot the correct phrase)
out of a group of ?50 to 100 ? (exact number being withheld to protect the news)
2/3 are reporting positive.

could there be various forms of the virus.. ?
type 1. minor symptoms sick. stay home for a few days. then well
type 2. major symptoms. real sick... with good care and healthy. you'll survive
type 3. bad a@@ symptoms. can't breath... die pretty quick. no matter how old you are.
