  • Note to Georgia geezers

I just turned 65 this year. Was looking at WMA land passes to go to their shooting ranges. I found that, for the folks 65 or older, you can get a LIFETIME sportsmans combo license (hunting and fishing) for $72.50. This includes big game, non-migratory birds and fishing (except trout which needs a stamp). You need additional stamps for migratory birds and a federal duck stamp for those critters. Having the license gets you into the WMA shooting ranges. Not a bad deal for us old folks :-).

In Florida, 65+ gets it all free. Hunting, fresh water and salt water fishing, WMA fees...................... no paperwork needed, just your FL driver license showing age and address
