Today is Good Friday, the day that we Christians mourn the death of our Savior at Calvary.
Today is also Patriot’s Day, commemorating the battle of Lexington and Concord in 1775. The day that the colonists decided that they were not going to surrender arms to the King’s army and is considered to be the beginning of America’s fight for freedom. Over the past 10-years or so I have seen that this day has been removed from calendars, both paper and electronic.
Hopefully, our children and grandchildren will not let either day be ignored.
