Luke 6:37. “Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:”
I avoided the circus as long as I could yesterday, but I finally ran out of excuses to not watch the hearings. Ms. Foster was glued to the TV as if it was an episode of Judge Judy. If nothing else, it was a lesson to all of us that there is true evil among us. Watching the recap of the hearings on Faux News, it was apparent that Congress is as divided as the country. I see three sides: Evil, righteous, and the fence-sitters. I supposed that whoever is deemed to be the winner of this public spectacle, the fence-sitters will lean that direction. I cannot point fingers, as I am guilty of not speaking-up as I should at times myself.
The evil ones in our government and media (one in the same?) know that we will be quiet as long as we have to protect our family and property. Unfortunately, I am guilty of this myself. Sometimes, we must be as wise as serpents (Matthew 10:16), and know when to speak-up and act and when not to.
The vote is set for 1:30 today.
