ZeroHedge - On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero

Here are some of the highlights from the latest batch of trial balloons:

The budget will slash $1.7 trillion in spending on entitlement programs, according to Bloomberg.
Trump’s budget will include a massive nearly $200 billion cut to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, the modern version of food stamps, over the next 10 years – what amounts to a 25% reduction, according to The Washington Post.

The food stamp cuts are part of a broader $274 billion welfare-reform effort, according to a report by The Associated Press.
The budget calls for about $800 billion in cuts to Medicaid for fiscal year 2018, WaPo reported.
The budget also calls for $2.6 billion in border security spending, $1.6 billion of which will be earmarked for Trump’s proposed wall along the U.S.’s southern border.
The budget is also expected to propose major domestic discretionary spending cuts - an earlier version of the budget called for $54 billion in such cuts next year alone.

Predictably, Democrats are already up in arms over the proposal, even though a formal draft isn’t expected until Tuesday....

I HOPE ALL THE PEOPLE THAT WENT BACK TO SLEEP AFTER THE ELECTION THINKING THEY WERE GTG BECAUSE WE HAVE A CONSERVATIVE IN THE WHITE HOUSE ARE READING THIS!!!

I think I've typed this elsewhere.. but
    here 'tis again.

welfare (government ) has caused more sorriness than anything else we've done.. it is not Biblical.

but we've trained large portions of the population to depend on it, and cutting it off cold turkey, may cause some upset.

    so
starting next year 2018 every current welfare recipient gets exactly what they got in 2017.
but No (0) new expenditures. there are a few folks on there that really have needs, but they have about got their life straightened out and they will be getting off welfare. those individuals that are "getting off" have shown they have good character, so they will be allowed to "assign" their place on the charts to whoever they want to. hopefully it will be someone who is truly in need. but their choice... as a group, they will choose better than the gov't bureaucracy.
we tell all recipients that they will not be monitored any more and that they should get a job, go to school, get active at their local social organizations because.
we are closing down the system and they need to get ready to take care of themselves, or convince their neighbors to pay for their sheet. because in 2019 payments cut by 20% to 80% of 2017
oh yeah, welfare workers, same money arrangement for you.

2019 - no one really believed the story, but in January everyones checks/benefits are 80% of 2017 they can still get by. they can still sit on the fronch porch hatching, selling dope, smoking evapors, overeating horrible food, gaining weight.

2020 - you guessed it 60% of 2017 base year payments. a few folks get off and re-assign their positions in the payment schedule to someone else. the illegal mexicans and the Syrians are hollering about their loss of rights. but, they ae told, "come to the courthouse in your county and we will document you. put you on a bus and take you to the border and dump you off."
the folks from the liberal left and the socialist crowd will be marching. the response is simple. the marchers can personally donate all they want to the welfare crowd. they can let them move in with them, they can provide their medical care, and food.
remember no new recipients.. sally, the lady with 5 babies, gets no new money for birthing a 6th youngun'. your church thinks that this is mean.. hey, take up a collection and empty the church coffers and give the money to whoever they want to.

2021 40% no exceptions for anyone!!

    2022 20%

    and you guessed it
    2023 -0-

    yee hah.

      okay, lets break this down...

      2017 United States Budget Estimate
      GDP: $17T
Total Receipts: $3.21T or $3210 Billion
Total Outlays: $3.65T or $3650 Billion
Total Surplus or Deficit as Percentage of GDP: -2.6%

So, they are wanting to cut $1.7T (or $1700 Billion) over the next 10 years or what would equate, if taken evenly to $170 Billion per year from a budget of $3210 Billion or approx 5.3 percent. Now, are they telling us that there is only a 5.3% waste in the federal guberment?

Its a numbers game...they throw out 20% reduction here, and 25% reduction there, but most of the time that number is if they made the cut in one year, not spread over ten years. WaPo and the rest of the MSM trash just keeps spreading the spin...

Don't think they are "balancing the budget".... http://federal-budget.insidegov.com/l/120/2017-Estimate
