    there is a movie
showing the heathen japs attacking the Koreans.. back in the 1500's I think.

supposedly a true story. the Koreans defended with 12 boats against 300+ japs.

    it is worth watching...
cowardice is rampant. when the odds are against the Koreans... many fled, many destroyed their own ship.
    big mouth talk is rampant.
the unpleasantries of war are evident... my bride left the room several times.

    mostly a naval war.

    tactics, loyalty, weapons, location,

I saw it on Netflix.. I suspect that it is not at the theatre. the cowardice part is something that I think will apply in today's situation...

This the one where he's removed from jail(under the gov ) to save them. Then gets left to dry anyway.towards the end.
Been awhile since I've seen it.
China/japense/korean conflicts are nothing new. But the movies are entertaining time killers at least.
Hey Petunia...you dropped your man pad!

protus, sounds like you've seen it!

the great admiral was accused of treason, so the wimpy leadership threw him in jail and tortured him.
then when the evil japs returned with a mighty fleet, they put him back in his admiralty.
and he remained loyal to the people/country even though he was tortured.

so many things in this movie shouted out that it could and is happening today.
