The pictures speak for themselves. The bucket was only stacked 2 high with dog food. Now I will have to go and pull all the buckets out and check all of them with the gamma seal lids.

IF your using any I would suggest checking them.

Are the buckets stored in an A/C cooled environment or hot environment, like shed or garage?
"One cannot but ponder the question: what if the Arabs had been Christians? To me it seems certain that the fatalistic teachings of Mohammed and the utter degradation of women is the outstanding cause for the arrested development of the Arab. He is exactly what he was around the year 700, while we have kept on developing. Here, I think, is a text for some eloquent sermon on the virtues of Christianity." - General George S. Patton, diary, June 9, 1943.

I only use gamma lids for pails that are IN USE, with open mylar bags. Other pails have rubber gasket lids. But even if cracked, the crack is in the center, so pail bottom seals it and food still in mylar bags...

It does seem to be a different type of plastic than the standard lids. The gamma is harder feeling...

        Thanks for the heads up.
