PERHAPS, just perhaps, some idjits considering the same thing here in the US will see that it's a mess in Europe and not "go there."

Maybe learn from someone else's mistakes? You think?

There has already been some discussion of how well negative interest was working and how it may be in the cards for the US...now to find that link again...

I think that there are plenty of examples that will show you that if something doesn't work, it will be tried again anyway :-). Instead of watching the Super Bowl, I watched the movie Margin Call. It loosely follows the fall of Bear Stearns, the investment bank that failed in 08. It's worth a watch and is free with Prime.

You know if it flops in Europe it won't matter they'll still do it here.

For an example look at communism/socialism, it's been a dismal failure every single place it's been tried but the democRATS still want to implement it here.

Tonight on fox they were talking about this and the treasury SEC thought it was a grand idea. NEG interest, It goes with digital cash so they track all. Can't lose any tax dollars now can we. Bern or hill needs every penny, Can't blame on one side though. They all dip into our pockets as much as they can. Kinda like a tax!! NO NO I didn't mean the tax word ,A fee yes a fee that sounds so much better.
