  • Cruz got a chance?

"Cruz, yeah! That's a good name man!" 30 minutes or less movie.

We say that line from that comedy every time we hear about Ted Cruz doing well in the polls.

Looks like he won the hawkeye state, you think he's got a chance?

Castro would probably soil his diapers if Ted got elected- "the jankees are going to invade for sure now!!!"

Yes, he has momentum for next round... I wish I could combine 4 or 5 of the candidates strengths into one candidate. Alas...

        Agree with that sentiment

I certainly hope he has a chance.

I believe he's the only candidate who could save the country.

Ted is my choice. Does not look like he can bump The Donald though.

For a while I thought we would be looking at a Trump/Cruz ticket. Trump brings in the Northeast and Cruz would deliver Texas. That said, Trump has really slimed Cruz with the "liar label" so I think that bridge has been burned beyond repair. To be honest, I don't know who Trump will pick for VP. Everyone else scares me. Rubio and Kasich are full blown amnesty hacks. Christie is Northeast so he doesn't make sense. Who does Trump pick? It has to be someone who can deliver Fly Over Country or the West Coast?

Hillary will be given the Democrat ticket and the MSM will protect her beyond on measure. The thought of her as POTUS makes me sick to my stomach. She is as dirty, crooked and evil as anyone who has ever held office yet people still support her. I just don't get it.
"One cannot but ponder the question: what if the Arabs had been Christians? To me it seems certain that the fatalistic teachings of Mohammed and the utter degradation of women is the outstanding cause for the arrested development of the Arab. He is exactly what he was around the year 700, while we have kept on developing. Here, I think, is a text for some eloquent sermon on the virtues of Christianity." - General George S. Patton, diary, June 9, 1943.

People want something for nothing, this is the appeal of the dems and of Donald, although he does not come right and say it. He does say I will fix everything for you etc.
Ted is the only true constitution follower, I have been in a lot of spats over this in past years , people don't like the idea that they have to work and fight to uphold the rights of all and that those rights don't come from the government. Most folks nowadays will sit on the curb and wait for .gov to bring them free stuff and blame the .gov for fouling up but won't hold them to task. Currant IE: flint mi. water the .gov, .Gov is to blame for all of it starting when they closed everyone's well to make them get city water, now look at the water!!! If they did not they put them in jail and fined them. And their own river looks like a sewer.

I still don't have any skin in this game yet, and I do mean game. The primary has not yet come to my state.

Rubio-out as amnesty IS an issue with me.

                        Carson-not a hope for prez

Kasich-not a hope, but I feel he's staying in as a campaign for VP or even for 2020.

Cruz-well, here's where I am at odds. Is he really for the people? Is he standing up for our rights? Doesn't seem to care about our privacy rights if this AP story is correct.... http://bigstory.ap.org/article/2db0f...d-minds-voters . What will he implement, or allow to be implemented as prez? And is Cruz eligible to be prez (and a US senator)...I guess you can call me a birther and yes, I still doubt Zero's birth. This explains what needs to be done, and I haven't seen Cruz produce the paperwork https://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?singlepost=3398927 . He could put it all to rest with one simple form from Canada...the Consular Report of Birth Abroad.

Trump-well he is stirring it up that is for sure. Does he have ties to both parties? Yup, and he has admitted that he has donated and why as a businessman he did. Does he have Foreign experience? I would say he has as much dealings with foreign leaders as Cruz and Rubio, and maybe more from a business standpoint. Has he had immigrants working on some of his construction projects? Probably, but I would suggest that The Donald is not the contractor and probably has nothing to do with the approval of the workers. Does he want to lead us into launching a nuke? I doubt it. Why would anyone want to do that as it would be M.A.D. (mutually assured destruction). Would he stand up to other leaders (foreign and domestic) and try to "make it right" for America. Don't know, but I would attest that I don't know if ANY of those running will do what they have said they will do.

What has Cruz and Rubio done since they have been in office...they both have missed 14.5/14.6% of votes which is higher than the 1.7% average. https://www.govtrack.us/congress/mem...ed_cruz/412573

Again, I would say...what if the Republicans and Democrats are the same party but just different ways of trying to accomplish the same goals? If that is correct, then nobody will come and save us. We are on our own. Local, local, local ...... You have your tribe in place?

Call me that crazy old guy....many do....

It is so that I am taking Cruz at his word, as a person to uphold the constitution but the options are few. I am with you on the rest I/we can't , just trust what is said. I really worry about what non elected underlings do with the rule/law etc.
