I never did like the idea of mystery meat such as bologna and hot dogs. Who knows what's in there? Kinda scary to think of it.

My boys and I have been adapting to some diet changes of late since I slashed our food budget. Me by choice, the boys kicking and screaming. Junk food and soda, what there was of it, are gone and we've scaled back on meat. Mostly veggies, fruits, rice, pasta, some chicken and fish on the menu. Trying to keep the food as unprocessed as possible. The hardest part for the kids was the soda and potato chips. For me it was my diet soda as I was a diet Dr. Pepper addict. We've each lost a few pounds, especially my younger son who was about 15-20 pounds overweight and had the beginnings of diabetes. He's no longer overweight and his insulin levels, which were high enough that he was on glucophage, are now in the normal range.

I will say it sure did cut down on my kid's friends coming over. Guess we're now "the boring house" cause we have no tv and no junk food. LOL

Yeah, this is just one of many warning alarms about processed foods, GMO's, and additives... It is literaly killing us... on a CELLULAR level.

My wife treats cancer and sees it every day... Except for the kids and teens, almost every one of her ADULT patients were or are smokers. But after those people die off and work through the system, cancers cases are growing rapidly... My wife and I, after learning about CELLULAR disease and the effects of food, additives, diet, contamination, etc... on our health in a cellular level, we are both convinced that cancer is just a result of CELLULAR malfunction, contamination, and modification... Stop the cellular damage and cells stop mutating into cancer cells... But that is a lot harder to do than to say... as almost EVERYTHING has been corrupted.

We are trying to impliment changes, but it is like learning to live and eat all over again, and it is a battle against our survival instincts in our bodies that crave sugars and fats for species survival. Back in the day, it helped one survive, now it bloats us and kills us, as the sugars and fats we get are contaminated and UN-NATURAL...

We raise own own pork & chickens and will have a Dexter milk cow in the spring. We buy NO processed meat products and our home raised and butchered pork tastes nothing like its store bought cousins............
