  • Poll: Next few months

Wowee wow wow..... Last few days have been crazy on phone and internet sales. Summer was kinda slow but everything changed around August 1st.

Lots of folks talking about the economy, downturn, China and Greece, Shemitah cycle, Iran , etc.

    Soooo... posting a poll.

The question is simple- between now August 6th and end of October, 2015 do you think we will see something MAJOR happen in the US. That could be a major market downturn, terr attack, large scale riot, etc.

Be interesting to see where people were at with this.

    Im leaning towards riot/terror attack.
Both of those are getting more common and thier side effects more blatant from TPTB to the FSA to the xyz national who goes rogue.

I would ask what you consider MAJOR? Was 2008 major, was Ferguson, Mo major?

I feel we will see the continued antagonistic media reporting trying to make the masses do something stupid. Which will sooner or later may be the final straw.
We will see continued stupidity out of Washington.
And sooner or later the world will wise up to the dollar and the IMF will create a new currency... That will be a major event for the US and our "Leaders" may even try to hide it by going to war.

But all of that may or may not be this year...

However I am keeping my head down and trying to continue to get ready while still remembering to LIVE today.

agree with what not yet posted. what are you considering a major event?

I have come to realize that there can be different major events that could affect some more than others.

for instance, if the economy tanks and job loss goes up, well that might affect someone who loses their job but not the other co-worker that still has a job...okay, that one that didn't get let go may have to work harder, but they are getting a paycheck. However, if the guy that loses his job has prepared for it, then maybe he would be better off short term then the guy who is still working as prices will likely go up.

but, i think i see the intent of the poll. yes, i believe there will be an "event" but the timing...hmm, maybe by the end of the year. my thinking is that next year is election year and there will need to be a lot of finger pointing. the economy and 2A is high on my "watch" list. I think most here know that the economy is teetering, but we have been the crab in the pot and the heat has slowly been turned up higher and higher. the water is now close to boiling and i think some sheeple are waking up, albeit too late. http://www.mybudget360.com/cost-of-l...anges-history/ but, when the ebt cards stop functioning, or SS checks aren't delivered on time, or medicare can't pay doctors or hospitals, or TBTF institutions are bailed out again but this time with "the investors money" then we will see rioting in the streets. that will then affect everyone because even if you have a job, the streets may not be safe for travel. again, this "event" will affect those not yet prepared more then those that are. yes, those that are will be affected, but in a different way. we will be in the defensive mode while others will be looking for food and security.

I am still watching for that "lone wolf" attack that will send the politicians into a "save my job" mode and propose a regulation(s) on firearm ownership. what better time then pre-election to put the candidates on record. Either vote for an anti-gun bill (they will call it compromise) or be portrayed as "not for the children" by the MSM. The MSM will and are pushing for attack on the 2A and will push their agenda.

Bottom line....i believe time is short, but how much sand is left in the hourglass is too hard to predict. Continue to make wise choices.

Just my thoughts off the top of my head at 8am and no coffee.

Edited to add new article I just read....

By years end is what im feeling. Leaning more to an economy meltdown... But think we will see more frequent "lone wolf" ISIS attacks, maybe even a major one, lots of hubub about a major attack from them as well.

From past errors, I have tried not to "predict" anymore, especially things of a deity nature, but there are enough "warning flags" being flown that I am more aware, alert, and ready these next several months... But I am living every day as if tomorrow is just like today; building, projects, recreation, fun stuff, work, etc,..

I found I had to answer "no" - but for the timing, not the lack of an event. Closer to the end of the year just seems more likely to me...

Sounds like with the "Shemitah" deal that essentially things can happen over the course of the year after it begins.

FWIW, that "Kiesler" a-hole is a communist through and through.

Just the commercial on RT for his "show" there shows him in a large mechanical robot deal trashing Wall Street and killing evil capitalists.

Always good to hear the "other side" of the story, but everyone has a tint to their reporting, his is most definitely red. Red as in communist...

I am with RobertJ on this one. Lots more Lone Wolf attacks and a couple of major ones. Still wouldnt rule out a 2A throttling with a false flag event to end false flag events. Anything is possible and and this point nothing is off the table. Economic event is happening but like Patriotic Sheepdog said...It has moved to a slow boil and the sheep aren't paying attention to anything that isnt on TMG. I think 2016 is gonna be a crazy year though.

                        I voted "yes"
                        Couple of reasons:
We've seen an uptick of "lone wolf" attacks, and general single shooter shenanigans.
We've seen increased civil unrest, sometimes culminating in violent protest.
What's been covered over quickly? Turkey bombs the PKK, then allows US air presence at a strategically located base. All of the Sunni states in the Arabian peninsula are engaged in a proxy war with Iran in Yemen.
Ferguson has been heating up over the last week and last night, another "kid" was shot by police. Pay attention to how this was presented at first, and now, and how the narrative changed little. Things got pretty hairy last night, and the only thing I could think of was "good thing these protesters aren't very well organized, we could see an insurrection very shortly!"

Whatever happens, we'll see it, but won't know it until the next day, when there's an effect.
Social media will play a role.
The knocking on the door came in Chattanooga.

So now the natives in Ferguson are chanting "we're ready for war". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9JWazoX_2k

I also read that the group Black Lives Matter want "reparations" as one of the fixes for the unrest.
