  • US Army will adopt hollow points for use in pistols

US Army is going to start using hollow points in pistols.. You might ask HOW CAN THAT BE?? and start screaming Geneva convention and the Hague convention forbid it... NOT SO FAST... read on...

If the legal teams at DOD can successfully make the same claims about the 5.56.. thats a huge game changer.. The 5.56 with expanding ammo is not the same animal as the FMJ offering..

They have been engaged more with soft targets...it makes sense. But for 556 i think they will stay fmj ...a jsp would do good vs hp imho.
Hey Petunia...you dropped your man pad!

Like I said in another post sp vs fmj. Someone gets it. They could use the tech of federal , FMJFP EXP. It is a fmj with a rubber ball in the nose and cut jacket and the rubber expands out the cuts. IT WORKS. Looks like fmj hard ball. It feeds flawlessly and expands about 60 % in dia..
