Leaving the local gun and knife show today, there was some young kid out trying to spread the message that "GUNS ARE BAD". He was trying to stall some poor guy headed into the show with his biased BS, and I felt so bad for the poor guy watching him try to shrug off this stooge.
And yes, I feel bad for the liberal wingnut, because he'll get a eye opener some day why we needed to keep our weapons, but it will be too late for him to do anything about it, and it will be all over but the crying and the slow walk to the graveyard (or detention center, whichever the case may be).
I miss my country, and I wish it would come back. I get real sad when I think that I probably could have done more to keep it around, and I would have done more if I knew it was feeling neglected so badly.
Yep, I really do miss my country.
It's a shame it left like it did. It used to be a nice and decent country. Not like the one we got now. God I hate what we got now. If anyone had told me when I was a kid that I'd see a day when I would be ashamed to be an American, I'd have thought that one of the nuts had escaped from the loony house.
God, I really miss my country.
I remember when I was really young once, I thought that I lived in the greatest place on the planet. Later on when I was older, probably a teenager or in my early twenties.............
Sorry guys......I hate when that happens, but don't you just hate when you realize we're all in the same boat that's sprung more than a few leaks, and the life jackets are pretty much going fast ?
You know, I talked to a veteran today at the show. He'd been to Korea and Nam, and I'm sure there were more there.
Every time I see one of these "do gooder's" outside these shows or at a gun shop spreading their crap outside the door, I see it as another slap in the face for guys through our country's history who answered the call (good or bad), and put their lives on the line for the rest of us.
