Cargo Bikes

I have been thinking about making a cargo bike/ bug out bike?, well not really a bug out bike of sorts. More like a post EMP/collapse/5.00 plus gas pricing cargo bike-hauler. I may try to produce as a income earner if the balloon pops. Or maybe be a truck err bike driver then as well. Well instead of re inventing the wheel I found out cargo bikes have been produce since... well since the bike has been around. If you can get past the hipster/liberal/pot head types (i Did) no offense to any in that criteria here... just not my cup o tea as it were. Gleaned a lot of Ideas from it, i may have even canned building a cargo trailer for now. hope someone gets some useful info out of it.

Cargo bike is a good idea however I lean more towards the single wheel trailer concept with the addition of panniers on the bike. Extremely maneuverable and the trailer can be ditched if the extra carrying ability isn't needed. I'm toying with the idea of using small backpacks on receiver mounts as paniers. That way they can be removed and still used as backpacks.
