    in my opinion...
    why our country is in trouble...

    Bob Hope was without a doubt one of the greatest entertainers of all time. A wonderful look at some special moments Bob spent with the troops during his many Christmas performances.


    it's about 10 minutes long... if you don't have time... go to the about 8:45 or close..

    and realize that your president wouldn't want hope singing that sound now...

    I always enjoyed the Bob Hope TV specials. I see old clips of entertainers like Bob Hope and they are still funny and entertaining today. 95% of the new entertainers are just not funny and decades from now they still wont be funny.

      Yep...people like Bob Hope and even Red Skelton. Something I learned about Red Skelton is that he was married to the same woman all his adult life. He got up before his wife every morning and wrote her a love letter. I remember watching his show and at every close he ended with "Good night and may God Bless" Never happen in today's world. (And, yes, I AM that old :-)

        I did not get to see him. Christmas 1969 the CO picked 5 men from our company to go down to Da Nang for the show.
        I have very few personal heroes, but Bob Hope is certainly one. Just watching the video I had tears in my eyes.
        As the video says, right at the end, "God Bless Bob Hope".

          thanks for posting that. Bob Hope is the definition of classy, great entertainer of all times. Just think of the spirits he lifted up and the lives he touched with his comedy, singing and guests he brought to some of our brave young men and women fighting for our Country.
          Protecting the sheep from the wolves that want them, their family, their money and full control of our Country!

          Guns and gear are cool, but bandages stop the bleeding!
