    wreck with a m/c on bango canyon road after shtf

    what if...
    you and the missus are out of your normal area and
    you see a large group of 20 m/c coming up behind you..
    the s has htf.
    the mc are weaving in and out of heavy traffic...
    you turn off the main drag to go up the hilly bango canyon road..
    cars are coming both ways and the motorcyclists start passing in the curves
    across the yellow line and two cars are approaching from opposite directions.

    the m/c gets caught in the middle, partly because he's leaning the bike as he makes (or attempted to make ) the curve.

    the bike caused the wreck. no doubt...
    but on bango road there aren't a lot of cars or witnesses and
    the bikes all stop... and the mouth starts..
    these aren't colored up gangsters, but the shtf and they aren't cordial..

    we were in this situation... no wreck occurred. . no one stopped!... but the bikes were crazily passing between two oncoming cars on narrow twisting 2 lane road.. I don't know how the guy got between me and the oncoming car..
    but it sure made me think .. "what if"

    Come hang with me in a month..dealing with "bikers " on the road is normal here. Shtf...general rule is this.
    Car 3k pounds....bike plus rider 600+/-
    Car trumps bike....truck trumps it more.

      Defensive driving...don't let the sob get in that position to start with. Reckless operation of a m/c is God's way of thinning the herd.

      You stopped? With 20 of them and just the 2 of you and no witnesses???!!!

        Would the tank have stopped? Don't think so. So why stop when driving a car?

          My Cherokee easily outweighs a m/c & rider. It's his butt if he wants to pass me on a curve because I am not slowing down or swerving.

            I always get a chuckle out of bikes with those "share the road", or "look out for Motorcycles" stickers, as they zoom at 80 mph between cars. ;)
