18 degrees and some folks go camping in this!

earlier today, accuweather said it was 18 here...

I stepped outside... very little wind. cold.. real cold.

then I remembered a story about some s&p guys camping in the teens. and I heard that it was real windy too.
shoot... that would've froze their soup! pipes at home would have froze!
the sole water spigot would have froze at the campsite!
some of them boys was getting a little long in the tooth, and would get up at all hours of the night and "go for a walk"
a couple of times during the night.... just for a little "relief"
I heard one ole boy rented a cabin for his wife and some other ladies... the other ladies all stayed home.
the ole boy invited the campers to go "camp" in the cabin... nope.. they were just fine was the reply!


is that a true story? or did I just dream that? lol.

Oh it was a true story :) But you know that already.

Was out for a little bit earlier taking care of the animals, and wishing they could take care of themselves on a day like today....

18 DEGREES... ppffft thats nothin!

The high here two days ago was 9, supposed to be -2 tonight.

Granted I'm not camping but I was outside for 5 hours and its kinda cool. ;)
