Prepping just isn't as popular as it was last summer! GREAT, seriously now is a great time to find good buys on supplies and get great deals at training schools. I like many here have been through these ups and downs several times and I can tell you now is not the time you want to relax and wander away from the serious business of survival. Redouble your efforts, evaluate your weaknesses, stay the course.. Lets talk about what we do to help keep ourselves focused.. For me it helps to go through and inventory supplies. Tweaking storage procedures helps me to stay focused and on task.. For example, I will take a box of gauze pads, iodine prep, tape and tagaderm and break them up into "modules' packaging them into single use packets that I seal in bags using my seal a meal. Or maybe I will take assorted items and make 5 gallon go buckets filling them with a roll of TP, a water filter, a couple MRE's, a couple freeze dried meals, basic OTC medical supplies, fire starting supplies , a small tarp etc etc, you get the idea...

Me...what we thought were kick butt flash lights 10 yrs ago were 6-9$ specials at most dyi stores....gear companies dropping prices...all in easy grasp of today's """prepper """...from gensets to knives prices are falling.
My goal for water will be complete once this contractor does his job....

Keeping one eye on the news and thinking of my kids keeps me motivated. The sheeple see record highs with the stock market, I see a bubble about to pop. Great idea about stocking up on fuel while it's cheap. It won't stay that way long, Russia's already feeling it. I continue to use my equipment and practice skills. I will also be attending some training to keep the rust off while fuel prices are down. Keep on keepin on...אני אעמוד עם ישו וישראלComment

I've noticed a decline in interest in this myself. At the gun show yesterday, there weren't any of the booths pushing the overpriced prepackaged food, etc like there were two years ago.Comment
