  • Hey Lowdown3, I finished the AK

finally got the new trigger installed, and the rail on. The Docter Optic red dot is sighted in. What a great shooting AK. I mean, it's not an AR, but it's not bad.

that Docter Optic sight is really something. They are not inexpensive though. Once zeroed in, rapid fire hits at 50, 75 and 100 yards were the norm. I put about 200 rounds through the AK today, with nary a hiccup. The new trigger is much better than the factory one.
Don't misunderstand, my Spikes Tactical AR is still my go to rifle. The AK will most likely live over at my Son's place.

                Very nice!
"One cannot but ponder the question: what if the Arabs had been Christians? To me it seems certain that the fatalistic teachings of Mohammed and the utter degradation of women is the outstanding cause for the arrested development of the Arab. He is exactly what he was around the year 700, while we have kept on developing. Here, I think, is a text for some eloquent sermon on the virtues of Christianity." - General George S. Patton, diary, June 9, 1943.
