Many expected the grand jury decision not to charge the cop this week due to colder weather setting in up in that region. May be yet today, who knows?
What's interesting is one thing I read talked about it being announced "after school" in order to give a chance for children to get home.
Do they expect a specific threat TO children? Just being cautious? This thing could really quickly go Balkans if a busload of children were caught up in the middle of a riot and all hurt.
I underestimate most law abiding people's "resolve" when it comes to fighting, but I think that would "cross the line" for many a people. I fought for kids before I had kids, some people just have a special place in their hearts for children.
As always first hand info trumps the news, so any/all forum members from that area PLEASE post with current info as you can.
FWIW, I don't see this becoming a "revolution" but precedents are always being set with these types of things. If their was those behind the scenes looking to harm America, they would probably end up gaining from this either way it fell out- further race problems or further restrictions, more laws and precedents relating to civil disobedience, etc.
One thing I'm hearing more and more from people I talk to on the phone is the realization of the need for night vision and the ability to fight at night. I guess they have realized a certain riotous creature seems to cause most problems AT NIGHT. Can't tell you how many sets of AR500 armor and PVS14's we've shipped to that region in the last couple months....
