Why the drop?

PRC- gold and silver are easy to forecast- simply ask me when I'm buying, then wait a day or so and when the price REALLY drops then, then buy :)

In other words, I'm not great at timing these things either ;)

One thing I have noticed is that it's hard to find a decent $.99 over spot ANY quantity deal from Apmex. Yeah I can probably find it from some lesser known place and wait six years to get it, but screw that! Paying slightly more and getting damn near immediate shipping is worth it to me.

I must have missed the gold in Switzerland deal, what was that about?

Switzerland

Swiss land put to public vote a couple of things.
One was should Swiss quit selling their gold and repatriate their gold from western storage folks.
Second was should Swiss stop /drastically reduce their allowable immigration.
Both failed and lots of folks are wondering if the vote was rigged.

Just like here in colorado, the whole state went 65 to 70% republican last election BUT magically the Democrat POS governor got re-elected .

I didn't buy when silver went through 15... I watched it climb, kicking my a@@...
now it's falling again...

I figure it's my chance to load up...
going through old pants pockets, couch cushions, truck console, back packs, key tray..... digging out old drawers, building up my stash of frns and pretend coins... !! lol..
I figure it is time to load up!
what are you guys doing? buying now?? waiting for 8 $ silver??

mine is the ASE but have no problem jumping on 90%
(trying not to debate the reasons of one over the other... that is covered elsewhere...
a couple of friends like bars etc... they say that the premium is the smallest with these items..

I held off on buying a few weeks ago at $16. Today it dropped to just below $16 last I looked. I'll be willing to buy some at this price and will, come Friday, if it's still down. I'll also buy a little each week if it continues to drop.

I like the pre-1965 stuff as it doesn't have as much dealer mark up. I always buy a couple eagles as well, so it's a mix. Don't usually by bars now, but have bought some several years ago.
