IT'S HERE NOW
Where/what is your line?
Figure it out NOW. Lay in the last supplies you need now if your taking this seriously.Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"
Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"
Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"

Also, got a call tonight from a friend in law enforcement. This is still in a RURAL area, very small town.
They got an alert tonight about Ebola and preps regarding it. Think small town podunk rural FloriGabama.
If you have the need/feel the need for a "last minute shopping trip", I would say this is the time NOW. Be ready to stay inside your home for 30 days without any resupply and without relaying on ANY outside services. And of course, avoid any outside contact, period.
I would never publicly state "it's that time" folks- but I would up my "cautions and warnings" to you in a nice, polite but firm way. Consider that as just happened.www.homesteadingandsurvival.com

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirmed on Tuesday that a patient being treated at a Dallas hospital has tested positive for Ebola, the first case diagnosed in the United States.
The patient left Liberia on September 19 and arrived in the United States on September 20, CDC director, Dr. Tom Frieden told reporters at a press conference Tuesday. It’s the first patient to be diagnosed with this particular strain of Ebola outside of Africa.
“[The patient] had no symptoms when departing Liberia or entering this country. But four or five days later on the 24th of September, he began to develop symptoms,” said Frieden.
The patient, who was in the U.S. visiting family in Texas, initially sought care on September 26, but was sent home and was not admitted until two days later. He was placed in isolation at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, where he remains critically ill, according to Frieden.
“The next steps are basically threefold,” said Frieden. “First, to care for the patient … to provide the most effective care possible as safely as possible to keep to an absolute minimum the likelihood or possibility that anyone would become affected, and second, to maximize the chances that the patient might recover,” said Frieden.
Frieden said the CDC and Texas health officials were working to identify and monitor anyone who may have come in contact with the patient.
“It's only someone who's sick with Ebola who can spread the disease,” said Frieden. “Once those contacts are all identified, they're all monitored for 21 days after exposure to see if they develop a fever.”
This is interesting to me as a couple family members had a respiratory related sickness a couple months ago. Here in rural, podunk FloriGabama one of the FIRST questions asked THEN was "were you out of the country lately or have you traveled to Africa?"
So what clown missed that part during this dude's initial visit?
Read through what I quoted from the article again. Tell me again how you think your going to have some sort of "inside information" to know ahead of time to BO before a disaster? Look at the lag times.
I'm really close to shutting and padlocking the gate and just enjoying a month siesta at Casa De Roberto...www.homesteadingandsurvival.com

Some interesting info hidden in that Reddit thread.
Also don't like to cross post but there is a large thread on a big gun forum that full of links info...etc.
What got my eye was the respiratory funk that's been brewing. There's links about it...CDC confirmed iirc cases mostly in the Midwest but GA.bama etc have them..
Seems were in hot water if Ebola can be aerosols some how.
Last minute shopping list made and one big ticket item will be installed over the weekend!!!!Hey Petunia...you dropped your man pad!

The next three weeks will be important, as the incubation period can be that long. Let's keep our eyes and ears open on this, as the gov may try and keep things under the radar so to not cause a panic among the sheeple.
Ebola virus has been isolated from semen 60 days after the onset of the illness, but normally the incubation period can be from 2-21 days. So since this guy reported to the ER about 2-3 days after arriving in the USA, and was admitted about 4-5 days after arriving in the USA.
Now, in theory, this guy may not have been the carrier. He could have gotten the virus before he got on the plane, or while on the plane. Now he would have only been infectious at the time he started showing symptoms. Now an important fact to have on this case, that I haven't seen, is if the patient had any symptoms while on the plane. Early symptoms could be minor, such as headache, sore throat, fatigue, muscle pain (I have many of these symptoms when I fly long distances). If he had any of these symptoms, then he possibly could have been infectious while on the plane.
Draw your line.....

I think the key is going to be how many more cases show up within the next couple weeks. Honestly if their is NONE it was probably a cover up. Hell the news articles state he visited people, etc. for several days.
The normal Ebola strain burns out quicker, this one doesn't. That's why this one is more dangerous.www.homesteadingandsurvival.com

No link but suppossedly family member of said Ebola infected has it.
Ill try and find info. But honestly...it should be assumed anyone he had intimate contact with (hug...kiss...intercourse etc) has it.from the ems guys to the hospital workers.......
Once we start seeing people outside that circle being infected then its game time.Hey Petunia...you dropped your man pad!

Watch for someone in another city show up with it. Then ask, were they on the same flight that this guy was. Then wonder who else was exposed and what flight they took to get to another city, and when. So many ways this could go.

Second patient being monitored for Ebola in Dallas.
All who have been in close contact with the man diagnosed are being monitored as a precaution, said Zachary Thompson, director of Dallas County Health and Human Services.
"Let me be real frank to the Dallas County residents: The fact that we have one confirmed case, there may be another case that is a close associate with this particular patient," he said. "So this is real. There should be a concern, but it's contained to the specific family members and close friends at this moment."
The director continued to assure residents that the public isn't at risk because health officials have the virus contained.
