As long as the internet and power stayed up I'm good. What I mean is I'll miss the communication from around the globe. I guess I can get some thru the HAM, but right now it's immediate. I'm a news junkie and would miss it. Can I live without it, yes. Don't do TV very much, maybe 1/2 hour a day if that. I've got movies on DVDs and computers so they can be used with the small solar/gen set up.

It's getting my daily news fix is what I'll miss.

don't be silly. Or just argumentative. We prepare so that we are the ones that ARE prepared. If you are not, then you just have to get by with less, right? Being prepared helps with the "life goes on, or it does not" part.
