        This !!!

Also, try to keep a spray bottle of water with you and spritz yourself now and then, fan yourself with a hat or cap, or...? Most importantly, pace yourself and keep the fluids flowing.

I grew up in cooler and less humid climate.
we'd visit the grandparents in the hotter and more humid area of state.
          old frame house... no a/c...
          it was rough...
I still wondered as a kid why g'dad would take a short break after lunch...
          now I know!

I've wondered how the heat and humidity would affect the FSA if there was no electricity.
no electricity in the projects would mean no a/c and no fans...

          would the FSA move northward?
hard to imagine them sitting still..

            From 1st hand knowledge.
Above 72f they will die from asthma (or insert medical issue of choice) because its to hot.
            Below 70 f.....they will freeze...

I'm semi serious ......but then again I've had fsa go nuts because their AC wasn't working when it was 38 f out. The concept of opening a window never entered their brain.

They wont migrate to far....and eventually when there is no audience around that is forced to endure their complaints they be just like everyone else....they'll adapt or suffer.
Hey Petunia...you dropped your man pad!

Funny as it may be.....how they adapt after the pacifier is yanked from their lips is the biggest concern IMHO.
Think of it as a child....who gets cake each day. After two weeks stop giving cake....what happens???

The people that are forced to work around the FSA know exactly what happens...when that cake is taken away.

Not to derail. But I've yet to see anyone die because their AC shut down..
Now it shuts down and you go.mow five acres with a 20 inch push mower with no water or breaks ....then yeah you might have issues.

I'm sensitive to heat injuries ....had two or three in the past. Biggest cause IMHO in each off mine and that of others I've seen is ego /pride and trying to keep up at a faster pace than your used to.
"""Ahhhh dude I can keep up with those 20 ye Olds "" or just flat out ignoring the signs...

I did yard work each night and day since thrusday...I drink a ton...but by Sunday ( I walked 1+ mile there and back) to mow a yard....I was feeling that sluggish blahhhh creep up. Shoulda drove LOL ...temps were low but humidity was 99%+. You gotta set a pace.

Acclimation helps a ton...but knowing your limits and pacing is key.......

That said if I win the lotto I'm moving to the mountains ....easier to warm up IMHO that cool off...LOL
