Not trying to be an alarmist here guys but for those of you who are not yet aware a bill has been introduced that would ban further sales of level 3 and 4 rifle plates to all non law enforcement and military. HR5344

My understanding is at this point it's just Level 3 and 4 plates like JAG mentioned.
People are ordering armor like crazy. If you need it still, order and be patient. Waiting till bans are proposed to get stuff like this means you have to be patient.www.homesteadingandsurvival.com

The proposed ban is for level 3&4 rifle plates . HOWEVER ,, I sell both sof. Armor and rifle plates and whenever something like this happens it puts stress on the supply side and increased costs are a side effect. For example. I sold every piece of armor I had over the weekend because of the possibility of a ban. So be forewarned, the potential for shortages and increase in pricing is real. As long as possible dealers like myself and. JRH will keep our pricing as is.(in fact I ran a $50 off sale even with the threat of a ban. I can't speak for. JRH but if my supply drops off and a ban is eminent I will raise prices. Simple supply and demand

I thought about getting a set to put aside..with my soft stuff...but that means buying multicam carriers etc...dunno if I could handle that :p
Joking aside...just like ammo especially Russian look at what that lil panic did to not only 39 but x45 as well. Buy now ...or be stuck waiting and paying twice as much.Hey Petunia...you dropped your man pad!
