and yet, in the Oakland case, where the white transport cop shot and killed the black kid, the DOJ is saying they are going to do a Civil Rights prosecution, since the jury only convicted the cop of involuntary manslaughter, and there was a riot.
The black community is demanding JUSTICE, despite the jury verdict.

I know what you mean, but "justice" is NOT what they are demanding. What they are demanding is a particular outcome divorced from due process-- not even a distant cousin to "justice".
Sorry to split hairs, but I just thought it was a point worth making.
