Spoke with someone involved with this case. About 14 staff quarantined at home, tracking down people the patient has been in contact with while in ER waiting room. CDC looking at his travels. Incubation about 14 days. Tamiflu is not helpful in this virus, which has a mortality of about 30%. Patient apparently doing well at this time.

Thanks for the intel Pat, I've been tracking this one too, been following MERS for a while, and now it's starting to get interesting.---------------

Two Central Fl healthcare workers that were exposed to patient with MERS, had flu-like symptoms. They were tested and proved to be clear of possible MERS.
Netherlands reported today their first MERS case. Patient came from Saudi Arabia.

Sad Part is I'm in and out of medical offices all day long (15-20 offices in a day)... I'm a worse case senerio for spreading it along... or catching something. I wash my hands after every stop and try not to touch face, nose, ears, etc. dont work when sick... use hand sanatiser... etc.
I need to re-evaluate my Job as well as the subdivision I live in after playing protus's nuke game. I always knew It was bad but time is near for me to find something outside the Orlando area and get setteled.
Is anyone else thinking this can be some kind of organized attack? Is it even possible to bio attack in this manner? send a bunch of infected over and spread chaos and death?

Guys I gotta tell you, there aren't a lot of places along the I4 corridor in Florida that ARE NOT nuke targets....
Seriously, from Daytona, Deland to a bunch around Orlando, over to another bunch around Tampa.
Given the typical Florida home construction, the gubmint's advice on "plastic and duct tape" ain't gonna do a damn thing for you either.www.homesteadingandsurvival.com
