emergencky alert system.

this afternoon, I was in veh. listening to music station as I drove.
emergency alert gongs went off... But no announcements and no "this is a test" comments.. after gongs... song returned...

I got on phone and called 4 fellows..
no one else was on radio or tv... one guy was at computer and checked a couple of sites...
no alert info..

sounds like just a miscue at the station or somewhere....
but it did get my attention!

Unfortunately, the old disclaimers are no longer required. Weekly tests, monthly tests, no "this is only a test"... Yes, it certainly does make the old ears perk up!

I've got a few cans of storage food... 3 boxes of .22 ... a case of bb's 3 pre 64 dimes, and a walmart safety medical kit that I bought
for preps... that I may sell to the highest bidder! no need for all that stuff now! lol.

I don't think I have listened to a radio in the vehicle for years. Nothing to listen to where I live. Rock, hip hop, crappy modern country.
I mostly just turn on the Pandora on the iPhone.
