Missouri? Really? They just passed some good gun laws there that told the feds to eat their lunch...I don't think this will make it through.

Here are a few others. Seems they try to get one passed and when it fails they just word it different in a new bill.

This is one state I feel will not give in like CT.

Bill 549- Dec 2013 --A proposed state law in Missouri would make it a crime for parents or guardians not to tell school officials if they have guns in their home. Parents could also be prosecuted for gun crimes committed by their children under the same law even if the crimes were committed with a legal weapon.

Bill 633 --specifies that any member of the General Assembly who proposes legislation that further restricts an individual's right to bear arms will be guilty of a class D felony.

Bill 613--Feb 21,2014 This act modifies provisions relating to firearms. The bill passed 23-10. It's now in the hands of the Missouri House. http://news.stlpublicradio.org/post/...sses-committee This bill is close to bill 436 that failed, changes were made.

Bill 436-- would have essentially nullified federal gun laws in the state. Fail to get votes

Tho I am not sure if these are up todate.

i dont think this garbage will even get to first base here. A bill to nullify unconstituional laws here passed both senate and house but was vetoed by Gov Nixon (D) it went back and was almost overturned, lacked a few votes. My rep Ben Harris (R) from Hillsboro is trying another bill on nullifying bad fed laws..both house and senate here are red and i dont think any bad gun bill will get by

Guys, if you haven't realized it, this is coming down to a pre-Civil war type deal.

Some states will have gay "marriage" and some will not- that will create "problems" as people move.
Some states will have Communitecut type gun laws and some will not- some will move, some will not, this will create "problems"
Some states have pot for sale at the 7-11, some states do not- that will be a problem for Joe Hippy that moves from Colorado to Florida and complains that he can get his "medicine" at the local Flash foods (Convenience store)

More and more it's looking to me like the pre-Civil war era wherein some states allowed slavery and some didn't, they tried to keep a balance, etc. Then the problem came up- what if a slave ran from TN to Iowa?

See how this is shaping up?

Gather support...get it localized ...then push on elsewhere.
I don't think we are cw2 just yet...but it seems to be a mad rush by some states and the feds to push through some extreme bills /laws. Is it the current tptb last grasp to maintain control through political means or is it as extreme as a invoking of previous laws (patriot act) one ""national " declared state of emergency puts all elections on hold iirc. Will it fall to a state that pushes a "confiscation " bill...where we see a few "Waco " type events or more recently like Boston. Shut down xyz area...sweep and clear and if rounds fly...it allows other states /fed to justify national support fir removal /registration or worse several lines drawn and crossed by both sides????

there is a common thread... common factor in gun control laws and efforts..
they are always led by democrats...
the republicans just about always vote against it...
a few of you have already figured out where I'm going with this...

a common comment on internet s and p type web sites is this...
democrats or republicans... it doesn't matter... they are both the same..
                  or something similar..
that is a lie that is gathering steam and commonly stated by intelligent folks..
but this issue is an example of the proof that they are not the same...

push any independent you want to.. but if your man doesn't win the republican nomination...
then vote against the democrats for the guy that has a chance!!! to beat the democrat..

                  it does make a difference.
