  • U.S. Military

According to Craig B. Hulet, our current military, and particularly the combat arms, is made up of 60% foreign nationals. He reported that we now have recruiting offices in Mexico, Thailand, Panama, Kosovo, etc. When we have a combat loss in Afghanistan, the body is more likely to be shipped to Mexico than to the U.S. Can anyone confirm this?

This is the first I've heard of this.
I get daily e-mail news updates from Military.com, the Dept of Defense, the Pentagon Channel, and the American Legion. Also VFW and VVA, monthly.
I could see that the DOD might not want to admit it, but I'd like to think that military.com and the Legion would be all over that story.
There are LEGAL immigrants here that join the military as a pathway to citizenship, but even then citizenship is not automatically bestowed.
