I made a little purchase from JRH our site's main sponsor.
the post office was closed Monday. this is Wednesday.
I was so surprised to get the package I went back into the po to find out when it was shipped and when it was delivered.
postmaster (at our tiny village postoffice) advised that the package was put in the system yesterday morning, and it was at the post office when she got to work
this morning. (about 7:30a.m).
so.. congrats to the usps for working so quickly. our nearby regional usps distribution center was closed last year. our outgoing mail goes to another state
before it is routed on to it's destination. I suspect this package went out of state before coming to me.
and huge thank you to the folks at JRH for processing it so fast. it had to have been packaged/processed/addressed etc.. "after business hours"
during a time that most businesses are closed! and found a nice bonus in the box!!
