  • Prepper presents...

Some that get it, understood my presents. Those that will be zombies because there are woefully unprepared, it gave me an opportunity to don my tin foil hat and explain my gifts. I have 10 people at work, that I gave gifts too. All but one of them received the ever-elusive and hard to come by "Unicorn Ammo" (Better known by most as .22 ammo). I tend to keep my prepping lowkey, but every once in a while I let people in on the little secret that only us preppers know. I loved the look on the incredibly anti-gun nut libertard when I handed him his very own box of .22 ammo. He said,"Ummm...thanks...I guess. What am i supposed to do with this?" I told him to save it for a rainy day and maybe it might one day be worth its weight in gold. Some others just kind of gave me a weird look, but a couple (That I know prep) were like,"Man this stuff is hard to come by!" All in all, it was fun to see each persons response.

Edit: The one that did not get .22 ammo, got some 7.62x39.

My sister went through the tornado in Palm Coast the other week. She was complaining of no light and burned all her good candles, no water, cant cook, etc.

I asked her what she did with all the flashlights, lanterns, ect. I gave her over the years..."batteries exploded in them", Lost by her children camping, etc., one excuse after another.
She is being resupplied by me for Christmas.

Lantern, Septer water cans, Coleman multi fuel stove, weather alert radio. She is instructed these are for hurricanes, tornados, power outages, emergencies etc. not her kids partying in the woods. she lives less then 10 miles from the coast and is oblivious, no matter how many times I explain it to her. All I can do is love her and keep her pointed in the right direction.

RE had Sawyer filters on sale for $20 each.. Not as robust as a Katydyn, but fits a niche. They just fit into stockings...

The Sawyer Mini Water Filter is the most effective, most affordable portable filter on the market.

Merry Christmas to one and all...

Took apart and re-did & re-designed the GHB's (Get Home Bag) for myself, wife and daughter (wife & daughter bag in same car)...

So their Prepper Presents are the little stuff I need to buy to make the kits complete.

But I see an S&W M&P Shield for me and a Sig P238 for the wife soon... <evil grin>

2 - 20' jumper cables those 6' cables that come in road side emergency kits just aren't long enough and I found out the hard way. 1 set for each vehicle.

1 - Schumacher battery charger - I will be using this to build my own battery bank based on Steven Harris' battery bank video. Its a step in the right direction and is cheaper for me to get going vs a genset. I am hoping to catch a genset on sale this summer after that tornado went through my AO here recently.

Let's see. I got ammo. (Always a good bet). A ZT folder I've been looking at for a while. A new air compressor to replace the old one that broke. Also got some winter/ all weather car survival tools such as jumper cables, collapsible snow shovel. Things like that.
