gathering award money!!

folks,
a friend sent the above to me... I responded with a suggestion we get a pot together to buy our hero a box or two of ammo... I've gotten one agreement so far...
anybody want to contribute? ld3 if we get the money together would it look good or bad for the website to send a prize to the hero?
I and a friend are in for 5$ each... that's 10 so far.
just an idea!!
two questions?
1. are you individually interested in contributing?
2. does the survival and prep. want to be the funnel for the money... helping send a box or 3 of ammo?
