You are more optimistic than me because I think Americans are like frogs sitting in a pot of water that is heating up. They are too stupid to realize what is going on because they are too busy keeping up with the Kardashians or Miley Cyrus. Face it, they are "Beliebers", not Believers. Even in the face of the Obamacare rollout debacle, people are still blaming Republicans. Heck, CNN came out this week and blamed Christians for the Obamacare problems.

I am afraid this country is lost. It's just a matter of time before it implodes. The Fed is pumping $85 billion a month into the economy to keep it afloat. I saw a report a day or so ago saying the Fed predicts it will slow down the printing of money in 2015. That's a lot of worthless money between now and then that will have to be accounted for with higher interest rates and inflation.

Tackelberry I agree that most cant be bothered. However, when the hard tyranny starts ALL will see it. When we go hard line Socialist or Communist it will be obvious to all. Granted, many won't want to or be able to admit it. But all will see it.

Guys, I hope you're right but everybody in Russia knew what they were doing when they overthrew the royal family in favor of Lenin and the boys. Same thing goes for Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua. It happened in Iran except rather than communists they put Islamic whackjobs in power.

There is, for the willfully ignorant and lazy, a certain romanticism about communism because it involves "sticking to the rich" except what people do not realize is that everybody gets stuck providing for the political class and by the time the reality of the situation sets in, it's too late.

There are still millions of people who support gov't run healthcare even after the gov't proved they could not build a website in 3 years while spending more than $600 million......and this fact just blows my mind.

You are talking about the useful idiots that aid in the insertion of a tyrannical regime and in almost every case once the Communists are in power they turn on those who put them there to begin with. Once the hard line policies take hold and the new regime turns on the very people who put them there they will then see with all too much clarity what WE have been claiming all along. The useful idiots are just now starting to get a glimpse of the betrayal. The gimme gimme utopia they were promised is not possible to deliver. They are just now starting to see it WAIT until the policies shift and start to target them as well as us. Now its just conservatives in the crosshairs. But when the hardliners begin to push groups that thought they were the darling golden child of the party will be turned on. You saw a glimmer of it when Obamma turned on the media and now we are seing small areas of discontent over the broken promises of .gov healthcare.
