  • deleting facebooki!!

    yahoo..
    finally.
I was never an active facebook person.
but i'd get a couple of emails from them a day.
2 months ago I I started deleting info and posts.
something caused me to get locked out??
and I couldn't get back in... password reset wouldn't work..??

finally got back in to my facebook acct.. deleted friends. deleted posts.
couldn't figure out how to delete the account until I googled "how do I delete facebook acc't"

a few on here know my real name. now, if they type it into facebook, they will get -0-
i'm in a 2 week "think about it " mode now...
    ==
oh what a relief it is!!

next is google... my wife uses them for emails.. they are monitoring what she does to the extreme.

Facebook blows my mind. You have an entire online community where people upload picture of themselves which can reveal more info than what you might think, telling people where you are and what you're doing at what time and with whom. I think it's a perfect way for the .gov to spy on its citizenry.

They have been spying on us since the DEA & ATT were in bed together back in the 80's when they thought everyone was a drug dealer. Now they are being belligerent about it, why? If the citizens fear the gov then tyranny will prevail.

Creating a generic account on Facebook is a good deal. I am John Smith. I only use my work computer to get on, and I have purchased 8 or more (scar 17s, Ar10, Cetme HKG3 clone, ruger .308, RRA AR15, 3 Glocks, etc.) firearms. Using a google number to a generic itouch with wifi for txt messaging. I show up in my buddy's Pickup truck, they think my name is john, and I walk away. So if they are asked...ummm john smith, and he drove a white Ford truck...and I am not and dont have. Just saying....

I decided a long time ago that facebook was nothing more than a invasion of my privacy the I would be complicit with.

I have been in and out of Facebook. Right now I am taking a break from it. I forgot to tell my wife about it. She found out about my Facebook departure when her status just said "Married" and it didn't say to whom. oops...

the generic name sounds like a good idea...
it would allow me to go nose around some..

as long as I didn't add any friends...
and didn't tell anyone who I really was..

I do have an associate who has done something similar.
his facebook name is an alteration of his name.
colonel smith became kernnel smeeth or something similar.

but for me just too much intrusion.

Its actually worse... When people upload pictures and then Face Tag them you are "teaching/training" the Facial Recognition software. And then as people upload old and new photos they get millions users with hundreds of photos and age variations to test and fine tune the software and actually you are doing the "verification" for them so they don't even use that many man hours doing it.
