Two cargo jets touted as a part of the Korean People’s Air Force during North Korea’s “Victory Day” parade in July were actually civilian aircraft with fresh coats of camouflage paint, NK News claims.

"First wave of the attack came in disguised as commercial charter flights same way they did in Afghanistan in '80. Only they were crack Airborne outfits. Now they took these passes in the Rockies."

half a dozen backpack nukes would get deployed within 48 hours, whereever those planes came from. :-) See if they want some more?

Not sure if the US has them in their arsenal but the USSR had them in their arsenal prior to their collapse. 60 Minutes did a story on them back in the mid or late 90s. At that time the Russians could not account for all of them. I don't know if anyone knows their status at this time.
"One cannot but ponder the question: what if the Arabs had been Christians? To me it seems certain that the fatalistic teachings of Mohammed and the utter degradation of women is the outstanding cause for the arrested development of the Arab. He is exactly what he was around the year 700, while we have kept on developing. Here, I think, is a text for some eloquent sermon on the virtues of Christianity." - General George S. Patton, diary, June 9, 1943.

That's is typically called a backpack nuke. And if they were around in the 60s, chances are they were fairly refined (or are fairly refined) these days.

Fairly certain the US isn't going to go sneaking them onto North Korean air bases just cause they painted a bunch of military cargo planes into civilian livery. Some people are just not that smart when it comes to foreign policy or military matters. Or are trying to live out some Walter Mitty fantasy.
