this story comes from an associate in n.m.
associate got a speeding ticket..
he went to traffic court to "plead his case and beg for mercy!"
when he got there the courtroom was in turmoil..
the ?government per federal rules ? had mandated the local court be able to track each citation.
the computer system didn't work!!
they had a pile of cases...
the judge had a disaster on his hands.
he finally announced that if you would pay $65.00 your ticket/case would be resolved.
no further prosecution. and no charge against your record!!
my associate quickly got in line to pay the 65 bucks and leave no record of his alleged sin.
by the time he left there was a huge line outside the building as sinners were calling other sinners
saying "get down here now and have your case resolved while the computers are broken!!
lol
