  • Overheard between a Banker & University Professor

    I overheard a conservation this morning between a Banker & a Professor.
Professor, " so do you think I should withdraw 'all' of my cash, until after this debt limit thing is over"?
Banker, "well I think they will solve it soon, but maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a little extra on hand. Not all wouldn't want you to start a panic or anything. You never know when something might happen".

Now I don't know the Banker I do know the professor. He is your typical stereotype, that thinks anyone without multiple letters after their name is a buffoon. And that anyone that would prepare for anything other than cocktail hour is rally odd.
They went on to discuss that maybe they should stock up the pantry.

I found it kind of both uplifting to have others openly discussing the possibility of prepping (personally I don't think it will go anywhere for either) and disturbing that these guys are becoming alarmed.
Survival question. What do I need most, right now?

ahh the sheeple bleat the right sound upon seeing the wolf at the gate but do they move away deeper into the safe pasture or do they stand and mill as sheep normally do?

this all ties into the shutdown, the ebt cards and the test posts as the tumblers fall into place on the lock. which side of the door will everyone be on when it does lock? I wonder

I enjoy being here and feeling that I am not the only one who watches and sees

      Is this prepping?

If it is my Dad was ahead of his time. He always bought extra food in the fall "just in case" there was a bad winter storm. He also kept extra cash at home "just in case".

It should be called common sense.
